I had the amazing privilege of getting taught by Jonny at university. I already played guitar but had never had any experience doing grades, but within a couple months, Jonny helped me to learn two grade 8 pieces which allowed me to be accepted into the music program of the university. Much more importantly, Jonny inspired me with his extraordinary technical ability and musical excellence. Years later, I am now a music teacher and still get to call Jonny a dear friend, I have also loved getting to play with him at various events in festivals.
